Supporting Children through COVID-19

Our world has changed and research has shown the effects this has had on children and young people. This course is designed to give you practical and useful tools to use in daily practice to help support their mental well-being in this difficult time.

Covid-19 has brought new challenges to us all, children and young people have had their lives turned upside down by the pandemic. They have had to adjust to changes in education, homelife and routine. How do we help them deal with this when it is so new to us all. This course aims to help you navigate through these challenges within your setting whether that be early years through to Secondary Education.


Learning Aims -:

  1. Provide knowledge of the negative effects children and young people have reported through research.

  2. Understand the ways to help children and young people deal with these negative outcomes.

  3. Offer practical solutions that can be implemented by practitioners in their educational setting.
